ROSE LOCALE

Quality and care

Flowers that keep their own time.

The journey from the flower bed to your vase.

We work with fresh seasonal flowers. Every bouquet is a little different, just like the garden it has just come from.

Seasonality

The garden sets the composition.

The time of year shows itself in every arrangement. In the spring there are tulips and peonies, in the summer roses and zinnias, in the autumn dahlias and structured branches. We do not work from a fixed catalogue, but from whatever is in its most beautiful condition right now.

The journey to you

Buds have their reason.

Some flowers may arrive while still in bud. That is natural and often desirable, because they then open at your home and you can enjoy their greatest beauty for longer. On the way they may look a little tired. After a drink of fresh water and a rest in the vase, they usually recover quickly.

Care after delivery

Every delivery comes with a care guide.

Follow the enclosed guide to treat your flowers properly: trim the stems, use a clean vase and change the water regularly. Avoid direct sunlight, draughts and the company of ripe fruit.

How long they last

A beauty that unfolds day after day.

1 week

The approximate lifespan of most fresh flowers with proper care.

5 days

Tulips or dahlias keep their own rhythm and usually last rather shorter.

up to 2 weeks

Chrysanthemums are among the varieties with an unusually long vase life.

Parcel delivery

When your flowers travel as a parcel

Selected bouquets and wreaths can set off from us as a parcel via our contracted carrier, anywhere in the Czech Republic. We pack the flowers in packaging designed for transporting live cut flowers, with the stems kept hydrated. Even so, it helps to know what to do if the box arrives a little battered.

Accept the parcel with care

Accept the parcel only when the box is intact. If it is visibly torn or soaked through, do not accept it and let us know by e-mail straight away. We will sort the damage out with the carrier directly.

Revive them right after unpacking

Take the flowers out of the packaging as soon as possible. Trim the stems by a few centimetres at an angle, place them in a clean vase with fresh water and let them rest for a while. Flowers arriving in bud open at your home and last longer.

When they arrive broken or wilted

Photograph a broken stem or wilted flowers and send it to us within 24 hours of delivery to nikolakrockova@icloud.com. An e-mail with a photograph is all it takes; you will not have to deal with anything else.

How it turns out

Most often we replace damaged flowers with a fresh bouquet or refund the payment, depending on what we agree on. A broken stem can sometimes be saved on your side too: trim it and put it in a smaller vase.

Wreaths and other floral products travel as parcels in exactly the same way and are handled the same. The full rules for delivery and complaints are described in our terms and conditions; the text above is their plain-language version.

When something is not quite right

We are here for you.

If a parcel of flowers arrives visibly damaged, we recommend refusing the consignment and documenting its condition at the moment of handover.

If you are not satisfied with your flowers, write to us within 24 hours of accepting your order and attach photographs. We will assess each situation individually and agree on a suitable solution.
